Artseek

 

Artseek is a platform that I created in 2008 which primarily works as a support system for local Independent musicians looking for assistance on various aspects of their creative work. Artseek has been involved in initiating dialogue between artists from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds on the local scene by way of music festivals, workshops and collaborations. It also focuses on encouraging cross-cultural projects involving traditional folk music/musicians, making them heard by a wider global audience. The platform has been instrumental in making la pongal and Yodhakaa materialise.
